Are you more comfortable with paper than fabric？ ？Well we think this special project that Crew？member Connie Hall created will show you what fun and how easy it is to work with fabric with tremendous？results. ？The layers？and textures look amazing together， creating a wonderful art？piece to include on a Fall mantel， on the wall or on an？easel on the front table. ？
I absolutely love Fall. The mix of cool and warm air along with the beautiful colors. I wanted to make a wall hanging for my office that would remind me of the beauty of？November.nursery pillows

Creating the pumpkins： ？I cut out 3 pumpkin shapes by hand from canvas and began misting the canvas with Marigold Glimmer Mist and then added 2 shades of red mist？–；？Crimson and Strawberry Ice Tattered Angels Mists. ？I then added black gesso and chose 3 different stencils. Once that was dry， I used white thread and made a straight stitch around the edges to make the pumpkins look stuffed.
The Frame： ？I took an old black frame with no glass and cut a foam board to fit inside. I glued burlap to the board and arranged the pumpkins on the board，？adding？the scraps of canvas at the bottom. I used Kiwi Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the pieces and cut out leaves from the canvas.
The Banner： ？I also cut larger triangles for the banner and added crochet lace and glitter sticker alpha’；s.
The Checkerboard： ？I added 1 inch squares at the base to create a checker board pattern.
The Sunflower： ？I went back and made a sunflower with a large paper flower， burlap and Marigold and Crimson Glimmer Mists.
The Art： ？I cut it in Sunflower in half and tucked it behind the pumpkins. Last， I painted a heart shaped piece of metal， added it to the pumpkin shape， and added small white flowers.
Canvas loves Tattered Angels mists. ？The？colors are rich， the texture shows through， an the fabric remains flexible， making it a perfect way to get？the fabric colors you？need to create your art. ？The use of everyday stencils in seasonal shapes is a terrific way to use supplies you？have around the studio to create your Halloween and Fall Decor. ？
